The staff control panel in preview mode.

Description

Time and weather for the whole server, run from one place. The server keeps the clock and the sky, every player sees the same thing, and staff steer it from a control panel that looks like a weather desk.

  • Synced for everyone. Late joiners get the current sky and time the moment they load in. Clients keep the clock themselves and only hear from the server when something changes, plus a slow resync.
  • A real clock. Pick how long a day lasts, speed it up or slow it down, freeze it, or follow the real-world time in your timezone. When staff change the time, the sky runs forward to it over a few seconds instead of snapping.
  • Weather that makes sense. All 17 GTA weather types with smooth blends between them. Dynamic mode picks what comes next from weighted sequences (clear skies cloud over before it rains, storms clear before the sun comes back), and fog likes the early morning.
  • A forecast. The next changes are planned ahead with their start times. Staff can see, edit, reorder, lengthen, skip or replace any of them. Players check it with /forecast.
  • Atmosphere. Wind speed and direction, rain strength, blackout (with or without vehicle lights), snow on the ground with tyre tracks and footprints, and a Christmas mode that switches to a winter weather cycle.
  • Presets. One click for "Storm night", "Foggy morning", "City blackout" and anything else you add.
  • Temperature worked out from the weather and the time of day, in F or C.
  • Staff panel with the clock on a 24 hour dial, the weather picker, blend time, forecast timeline, presets and a change log. Every change is checked on the server, rate limited and logged with who made it.
  • Saved across restarts. Weather, clock, forecast and settings come back after a restart.
  • Works with other scripts. Exports, a state bag and events for HUDs and other resources, and the qb-weathersync events housing and interior scripts use to pause the weather.
